This Bennett Better Built Devonshire was built in 1932. I have met with the daughter of the original owners and she has confirmed it is a Bennett Devonshire built by contractor Tracy Swayse. She even found a Bennett leather bound catalogue in the house when her parents sold it and Tracy Swayse’s signature is on the inside cover.

She confirms the floorplan is exactly like in the plan, but breakfast room was not on the original house because of the ledgy hill behind the house site.

The style of building and carpentry details  in the house  are familiar to me after seeing the Bennett Albemarle interior.
