Montpelier Home built in 1931 – Matches Home Builder’s Catalogue Dozier Model from 1928

This Montpelier gambrel style house is unique, and I’m told it was built by Tracy Swasey who also built his own family home nearby. I haven’t found multiple similar designs from kit companies and plan books. The closest I have come is the Home Builder’s Catalogue Plan Book 1928 Dozier model. I haven’t been inside so can’t compare the floor plan. The front door is slightly different than the plan. The  plan book dimensions are 28′ wide by 26′ deep for the main part of the house. The city records list it as 28’/28. I’m guessing that Mr. Swasey took some liberties with the plan. The sunroom dimensions match the plan well.
